Nitrogen Toxicity

Description:
The leaves will begin to turn dark green on the bottom of the plant, followed by moving upwards on the plant. The stems and the foliage will become weak. The leaves that are not getting enough light are usually the first to show clawing symptoms. Nutrient burn signs may be apparent.

Can be caused by:
• Improper PH range
• Nutrient Lock
• Nutrient Burn/Over Fed Nutrients

Solution:
Keep the growing environment temperature-controlled, high temperatures will cause the plants to drink more water than normal and will result in more nitrogen being up-taken, worsening the clawing effect. Soil: Reduce the amount of nitrogen the plant is being fed and flush the growing medium with ph water. Coco & Hydro: Flush and re-add the proper cannabis nutrient ratio.
